Log Jam ("the app") is a fitness tracking app for CrossFit and weightlifting athletes. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your choices.
Log Jam stores the following data that you enter:
All of this data is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, it is synced to your personal iCloud account so your data is available across your devices. We never have access to your iCloud data.
When you use the Scan Whiteboard, Barbell Scanner, or Smart Import features, photos or text you submit are sent to an intermediary server operated by the app developer, which forwards them to OpenAI's API for processing. Images are resized before transmission. Neither the app developer nor OpenAI retains your images or workout data after processing. OpenAI's privacy policy is available at openai.com/privacy.
The app may request access to your location to automatically detect your gym. Location data is used only on-device to match against gyms you have saved. It is never transmitted to any server.
The app requests camera and photo library access only when you initiate a scan or import. Photos are processed locally or sent to the AI service as described above. They are not stored on any server.
Log Jam does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
All your data lives on your device (and optionally your iCloud account). You can delete all local data at any time from Settings → Reset → Delete all local data. To remove iCloud data, delete the app and clear its iCloud storage from your device's iCloud settings.
Log Jam is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
